What is your service area?

My standard area is the greater metro Vancouver area, including Burnaby, Coquitlam, Delta, Langley, Port Moody, Richmond, Surrey, Vancouver, and White Rock. I’ve completed shoots as far as Mission/Maple Ridge, and as far north as Squamish.

Beyond the Metro Vancouver area may be subject to additional fees based on distance, ferry travel, etc.

How long does a real estate photo session take?

Allow at least an hour for the average size home. The time required is based on the size of the home, the amount of existing light, if there is a sweeping view, etc. Getting professional-quality real estate photos requires more than just running through and pushing the button on the camera (see Before/After for examples). Once I know the size and scope of the home I can give you an estimate of the time required.

How do I prepare for the photo session?

The home should be neat and clean. Extraneous items (pet food dishes, laundry, unnecessary clutter, personal items) should be removed to make the home look as inviting as possible.  Hiring a professional home stager can be very helpful. If that’s not an option, do your best at making the house as “show room” like as possible. For example: set the dining room table and put flowers in a couple rooms (these can be moved around for various shots).

Do you provide MLS Quality photos?

For real estate listings, two sets of digital images will be provided; one, MLS-ready; the other, high-resolution for use with brochures, flyers, or other printed material.
